LoFric is a hydrophilic catheter for intermittent self-catheterisation (ISC) of the bladder, and as such offers low friction. We have led the way in urology products dealing with problems of the urinary tract. The range comprises a large number of hydrophilic single-use catheters for the intermittent catheterization of the bladder, also known as ISC, and urology catheters for dilation and instillation. The relieving low friction properties of the LoFric catheter are well documented and widely acknowledged. The unique design and surface of the Astra Tech Dental Implant System has been widely documented. The dental system, using our unique microthread implant, has produced excellent results in clinical studies. The microthread structure provides superior strength and unsurpassed preservation of the bone surrounding the implants. The results are natural-looking aesthetics and reliability. The Astra Tech dental implants create an optimal foundation for dentists to replace missing teeth and restoring the smile, and hence the confidence, of many patients with throughout the world. Astra Tech surgical products are designed for draining wounds, and include Bellovac ABT, the autologous blood transfusion system. Other surgery products help drain wounds. Apart from the autologous blood transfusion system Bellovac ABT and wound drainage products, the surgery range also includes a series of single-use products such as suction and vein instruments, and scalpels. Instruments for vein stripping and suction are some of our specialities. In the radiology area, Astra Tech functions as a distributor for Bracco imaging, who sell contrast media. Our products offer a wide range of contrast media for X-Ray, Magnetic Resonanced Imaging (MRI) and Ultra Sound (US). This range also includes various accessories for X-Ray examinations. PEP/RMT sets consist of a latex-free breathing mask, valve and eight different resistors. PEP/RMT sets help patients with respiratory problems breathe.
