Are there situations when I should discontinue the use of Bellovac™ A.B.T?

There are some situations when the use of Bellovac™ A.B.T should be discontinued:

• If the patient suffers from fever and chills.

• If the transfusion set clots more than once, that is if you have tried to exchange it once but it clots again.

• If the system is accidentally disconnected you should also take measures to ensure that no contaminated blood is reinfused into the patient.
